After reading "Last Child in the Woods" (which should be required reading for anyone involved, I've been hoping for something like this in our community! My daughter is a Westchester student and I would really love to help with Project IDEA, through planning, designing, and/or construction. I also, think it would be a terrific learning experience to have students and community members plan and build the rain garden, and then maybe other KSD schools could build rain gardens too. I'd love to help, especially with the rain garden, and I've researched them extensively. What a wonderful project! Go KSD! I am so very excited about this!
